Just applied for Amex blue cash preferred a few days ago and was approved with initial CL of almost 34K. This is my fourth Amex Card after personal platinum, gold, and Hilton Aspire. In that order. The Hilton Aspire card CL was $3700 and I asked for CL increase after 60 days for 10K and was approved instantly.

This almost happened to me when I paid it full a year ago. They did a 90% reduction on my credit line, I’ve gotten back up to 20% from its original Credit line on my Saffire preferred.

They just increased my limit and my credit suck ass

Not saying that the AMEX portion of this video is false but it’s definitely partially inaccurate. About a month ago “someone” applied for Amex directly and for Amex through Amazon on the same day and got denied for both. They received a hard pull on Experian for each application. 🤦🏾‍♂️ Side note: the inquiries were disputed and deleted a couple of weeks later.

Lol i did have that 500 platinum. It changed to a quicksilver and is stuck at 2100 to this day. 😂 Still use it though.

My first credit card in 2014 was Capital Quicksilver for $500...then Capital One Savor One in 2018 for $5,000, then Venture X in 2021 for $30,000...They've been good to me. Never missed payment. under 10% utilization, loving the Savor One / Venture X combination. Racking up miles for travel. My average of all credit scores is 770. I've gotten AMEX gold and platinum pre-approvals...but I'm good. I don't think Chase Sapphire does pre-approvals. I've had Chase for 16 years...But rarely use my debit card, stick to credit cards for cashback and miles accumulation.

CapOne is horrible ..the bank opened 2 credit cards & 1 checking account in my name - without my approval / authorization !! . Done with that bank. Forever.. Horrible in all aspects.. !!!

I remember that I PC'd (upgraded) to a SavorOne card with a $9K limit. I have been using it more for the last 6 months since I upgraded. The last time I had an increase was about a year ago. I requested an credit increase with them and I got denied, since they said that my usage is too low. The average amount I spend with my card is almost $600. I guess I have to spend more to increase my limit. But bear in mind, I paid more than the minimum on my bills with them.

I paid 2 of my credit cards down that I have with them by almost $10K and a week later they cut the utilizations on them IN HALF, even making me maxed out on BOTH CARDS!!!😡😡😡 They actually denied me to restore my limits guess why - BECAUSE I HAD TWO CARDS THAT WERE MAXED OUT - YEAH THEIR CARDS!!!😡😡😡😡🔥😡🔥😡🔥🔥😡🔥😡🔥🔥🔥🔥

Stay away from synchrony, 9-10 times they will open are for you then close it w/o notice. Just beware!

I know a lot of people have issues with Synchrony but I've had the Synchrony Amazon card for a long time and never had any problems with them. I can't bring myself to do business with Wells Fargo. They have proven time and again that they will bend over backwards to defraud their customers. My limited experience with them was always terrible even before they got caught. And now they have the nerve to fire people for "unethical conduct". What a scummy company.

I have been banking with Capital One & have their Quicksilver cards since 2017. One MasterCard & one Visa. Less than two weeks ago, I applied & got approved for the Venture X.

The Verizon Visa by synchrony bank is a great card to have, if you're a Verizon customer. No annual fee, 4% on gas and groceries and soon to be 4% on dinning. Those are awesome rewards for a no annual fee card.

I closed a Synchrony account out with zero balance. They can stick it where the sun don't shine 😂
